WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT DURING THIS FLUENCY LAUNCHPAD TRAINING

Throughout this 1-week hybrid training, you'll receive expert insights, concrete practice techniques, and a variety of resources via email. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to attend a live 50-minute interactive event, Ask Me Anything Studio: English Pronunciation Skills. This event includes Q&A to get your questions answered, personalized feedback for volunteers, and guided support.  

Our training will culminate in two live 90-minute interactive speaking events: Fluency Practice Studio for B-1 and B-2 Speakers of English (intermediate) andFluency Practice Studio for B-2+ and C-1 Speakers of English (high intermediate plus and advanced). During each Fluency Practice Studio event, participants engage in small group discussions to reinforce the training delivered over the previous 5-6 days. These interactive sessions will provide a platform to practice and refine your skills in a supportive environment.

To kickstart this training, we begin with a Vocabulary Spotlight Sheet focused on a specific theme for a 90-minute live event towards the end of this program. Sarah guides you through a variety of techniques and resources to help you review and actively use this vocabulary throughout the training. 

If you've encountered new vocabulary over the years but have struggled to recall it when needed, this training element is designed to help. Linguistic research shows that it can take as many as 17 times of meaningful exposure and active use to cement new vocabulary for easy access. This training provides you with techniques and strategies to help you efficiently expand your vocabulary range in your fluency building journey.

We then turn our attention to speech production for the global workplace. Sarah shares her 5 tips to create instant understanding and a specific technique for projecting a confident vocal presence. She will host a live Ask Me Anything (AMA) Studio event focused on speech and vocal production, where she will answer your questions and provide her expert guidance. Through this training, you develop skills to adjust your spoken English to ensure that speakers of other languages can understand you.

In the global workplace, you want your knowledge, insights, and ideas to take center stage-not your accent. Everyone has an accent. What's key is ensuring your message is understood. This training equips you with skills to enhance your English speech clarity so that that your message is processed with more ease. This element of the training will help you be better understood in any professional setting. 

Finally we focus on Message Delivery by working with the progression of information,ensuring your audience can easily follow you from point to point and engage with your message. Sarah shares a sample framework that you can practice and implement during the training. Such a framework will enhance your ability to communicate effectively and confidently in any setting. 

This training element will help you become a more impactful speaker by addressing common challenges, such as dragging out topics or revisiting points without steady information progression. If you've received feedback like this, speaking within a framework will help. Sarah guides you in applying a sample framework to engage with your listeners effectively in meetings, presentations, and interviews. This will help you communicate and engage with your audience more efficiently and effectively.
